Tragic Accident Claims Three Lives as Truck Collides with Car on Ondo-Ore Highway.
Three individuals tragically lost their lives, and another sustained injuries following a devastating accident on the bustling Ondo-Ore highway. The incident occurred when a fully loaded truck belonging to the Nigerian Brewery lost control at the Liyetu axis in Ondo town, situated within the Ondo West Local Council Area of the state, and fell onto a passing Golf 111 car.
The Golf 111 car, bearing the number plate BUR 852 TS, was ferrying passengers along the route when the collision happened.
Confirming the grim incident, the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Funmilayo Odunlami-Omisanya, reported that the deceased individuals’ remains had been transferred to the mortuary, while the injured passenger received medical attention at a nearby hospital.

Odunlami-Omisanya urged the motoring public to utilize alternative routes to avoid congestion in the aftermath of the accident.
