An advocate of cyber safety, Mr. Rotimi Onadipe has urged the general public to always pray for the salvation of cyber fraudsters, popularly known as “Yahoo Boys” and “Yahoo Girls.”
He stated this in Ibadan on Saturday September 17th, 2022 during an awareness seminar on internet safety with the aim of educating the public about how to reduce cyber crimes in the society.
The internet safety advocate said he had interviewed and counseled a lot of cyber criminals on how they can be totally free from their criminal activities.
According to him, cyber criminals don’t see anything wrong in what they are doing because the fear of God is not in them. This is why they feel good any time they defraud their victims and they don’t even care if the victim had sold all his belongings and gave the money to them.

Mr. Onadipe made reference to the word of God in Titus 2:11-12 which reads:
“For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people, it teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age.”
“The grace of God is very powerful and we can’t live a godly life without it. It is that grace that the cyber criminals need and this is the more reason why we need to pray the prayer of salvation for them.
“If there is anything we should get addicted to, it is the prayer of salvation for cyber criminals. It’s a very simple prayer and it won’t take much of our time.
“Almighty God, let your grace of salvation locate all cyber criminals anywhere they are in Jesus name Amen,” he added.
