Nigerian Youths Parliament (NYP) applauds Minister of Youth and Sport Development, Sunday Dare on establishment of The Nigerian Youth Employment Action Plan and Nigerian Youth Investment Fund.

“The only difference between success and failure is the ability to take action.” ~ Alexander Graham Bell, Inventor.

It’s pertinent to applaud the recent achievements (Establishment of The Nigerian Youth Investment Fund and The Nigerian Youth Employment Action Plan) of the Federal Government through the Federal Ministry of Youth and Sport Development headed by Honourable Sunday Dare.

The Nigerian Youth Employment Action Plan was developed by the Federal Ministry of Youth Development (FMYSD), as a strategy to respond effectively to the youth employment challenge in Nigeria. The major objectives of the plan are to address fragmentation and harness technical and financial resources for meaningful impact.

Minister of Youth and Sport Development, Sunday Dare

As you know unemployment has always been a difficult challenge to the Nigerian youth, mostly in finding a decent job. While our(Youth) demands and agitations to establish Youth investment fund and employment action plan initially seemed unrealistic even impossible, through the leadership of Hon Sunday Dare in the ministry of youth, extra efforts of the staffs and Federal Government,we succeeded.

Sunday Dare position as Honourable Minister of Youth and Sport Development as large as the youth ministry is challenging to say the least. His hard work, passion, confidence, team work spirit, attention to detail and ability to foresee challenges and avoid them is greatly appreciated especially during this time of extreme pressure brought by Covid-19 pandemic.

In addition on this particular projects (The Nigerian Youth Employment Action Plan, and Establishment of The Nigerian Youth Investment Fund) extra hours he worked while maintaining the standard of excellence that is his trademark greatly gave birth/ contributed to the ability of the Federal Government through the ministry of youth to provide lasting solutions to some of our challenges.

Words of appreciation are nice and they’re sincere but there are times when actions speak louder than words. You deserve all the accolades and standing ovation. We are confidant that you can still do more for the Nigerian Youth and if tested with a greater position.
And thank you so much for your dedication and admirable work ethic.
