The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) is gearing up to unveil the new head coach for the Super Eagles in April, marking a crucial step in steering the three-time African champions towards their future endeavors. This comes in the wake of Jose Peseiro’s recent departure, prompting a focused search for a capable successor.
In response to the vacancy, both local and international coaches have thrown their hats into the ring, showcasing a diverse pool of talent vying for the prestigious position. Among the notable candidates are Emmanuel Amuneke, Sunday Oliseh, Finidi George, Daniel Amokachi, and Antonio Conceicao, each bringing unique perspectives and experiences to the table.
According to a reliable source within the NFF, the federation’s paramount objective is to elevate Nigerian football to new heights, hence the meticulous selection process. “NFF wants the best for Nigerian football and will go all out to ensure that they get it by hiring only the person who will take the Super Eagles to the highest level,” emphasized the source, speaking on condition of anonymity.
