Following Oborodudu’s victory, Odunayo Adekuroye continued Nigeria’s winning streak, triumphing over Zineb Hassoune of Morocco with a decisive pinfall.
Mercy Genesis, a standout athlete with achievements in both Commonwealth and African competitions, dominated her Egyptian counterpart Mohamed Nada with a remarkable score of 7-0.
Making her debut at the African Games, Ogunsanya Christiana showcased exceptional prowess in the 53kg category, securing a resounding 11-0 victory over her opponent Nogona Bakayoko of Cote D’Ivoire.
The celebration soared as Hannah Reuben sealed another triumph for Nigeria, emerging victorious against Amy Youin of Ivory Coast.
