The federal government of Nigerian has approved a 20% increase in police salaries to take effect from the year 2022.
If when implemented, police men and women will be able to take home a descent salary.
This will be the first time the federal government headed by Mr. Buhari will increase and officially implement salary increase for the police force.

Maigari Dingyadi, minister of police affairs, have this disclosed to the state house correspondents on Wednesday after the FEC meeting presided over by the president himself at the presidential villa in Abuja.
