Manchester United vs Leicester City’s Match started with full attacking forces.
United are getting a fair amount of possession in the final third, but they’re unable to create anything clear cut at the moment. Lots of switches in play, but they’re not able to open Leicester up
The ball turns over again and Pogba comes driving with it up through the centre now. He reaches the edge of the D and is encouraged to shoot by the crowd, but he instead tries to play Fred in. It’s cleared and United will come again.
Rashford was a better option
Rashford isn’t fancied as a centre forward for obvious reasons (because he isn’t one) but he has played there enough times in the past to provide United with a focal point.

Bruno Fernandes is just dropping off and going for the hit-and-hope. His passes for Elanga have been too telegraphed and easily cut out.

Iheanacho has all the time in the world but can’t get it on target.
Fernandes was played through but side-footed his shot for Schmeichel to save with his outstretched foot.
Iheanacho had a chance up the other end, but skied his shot. Barnes flicked on a Maddison cross after getting ahead of Varane, but that was wide too. And that was about it for the half.
