Real Madrid star Mateo Kovacic has rejected a move to Manchester
United after the Premier League reportedly failed in an attempt to sign
the midfielder.
The 24-year-old revealed earlier this summer that he wanted to quit
Santiago Bernabeu in order for regular playing time.
According to Marca claiming that Red Devils have shown an interest in
signing Croatia international as both Manchester City and Chelsea have
been linked with former Inter Milan star.
However, the report suggests that Kovacic has decided against
entertaining a switch to Old Trafford due to a belief that he will not fit
the playing style of manager Jose Mourinho.
Kovacic has made a total of 109 appearances in his three years with
Spanish capital club winning three Champions League and La Liga.
