It was double blow for Arsenal yesterday with a defeat to Aston Villa and Thomas Partey injury at half of time of the game.
Arteta summer’s deadline day signing was a significant loss, with his absence felt in the second half, and his departure from the game left fans bemoaning their perceived injury curse.
However, Gunner’s lovers were understandably concerned about how long they could be without the Ghana international.

Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta after the match gives update about Thomas Partey and said;
“We don’t know the extent of it.”
“We have to scan him tomorrow or the day after and see what he felt straight away. Let’s wait and see what the magnitude of the injury is.”
“I don’t know [if he will go away with Ghana now]. As I said, the doctor will have to have a look at him and probably scan him. Then we will decide what to do with him.”
