A leader of a robbery gang Identified as Getay has been killed by police.

This incident happened in warri South council of Delta State where the Police spokeperson Mr Edafe bright confirmed the incident.
He wrote
“operatives of ‘B’ Division, Warri patrol team shot and wounded the notorious armed robber on Friday February 25 during a shootout.
“In the ensuing gun duel, Getay who is the leader of the gang, sustained gunshot injuries and was taken to the hospital where he gave up the ghost while receiving treatment”.
Mr Edafe further explained that command rescued a kidnapped victim at Ewhrekekan Junction in Ughelli South Local Government Area of the state.
