Exciting News: Student Loan Scheme Set to Launch in Weeks Says Gbajabiamila.

Femi Gbajabiamila, Chief of Staff to the President, announced that the eagerly anticipated student loan scheme is poised to begin within the next two to three weeks.

During a meeting with a delegation from the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), led by President Lucky Emonefe, at the State House in Abuja, Gbajabiamila shared the timeline for the scheme’s implementation.

Encouraging Nigerian students to embrace the initiative, Gbajabiamila emphasized its goal of providing equal access to quality education for all students, irrespective of their financial circumstances.

He expressed President Tinubu’s unwavering commitment to the success of the scheme, stating, “Mr. President is absolutely determined that we see it through successfully. We are hoping it will be launched in the next two to three weeks; we are trying to finalize all necessary details before its official launch.”

It’s worth noting that although President Tinubu signed the Student Loan Scheme into law in June of the previous year, its commencement had faced delays.
