Brazil Legend Careca Predicts Success for Osimhen at New Club.
Antonio Careca, a Brazilian football icon, praised Victor Osimhen and expressed confidence in the striker’s ability to make a significant impact when he eventually leaves Napoli for another team.
Osimhen played a crucial role in Napoli’s Serie A triumph last season, scoring 26 goals in 32 league matches.
The 25-year-old is anticipated to depart the Partenopei at the conclusion of the season.

Careca lauded the striker for his exceptional performances and hopes Napoli will secure a strong replacement if Osimhen moves on.
“I hope Osimhen can maintain his high level of performance as he did in Naples. I met him and found him to be a respectable individual who excelled at Napoli, scoring numerous goals and contributing to their championship win. Should he leave, I believe Napoli will find a player who can match Osimhen’s abilities,” Careca stated in an interview with Napoli Magazine.
Osimhen, who joined Napoli from Ligue 1 side Lille in 2020, has accumulated 74 goals and 18 assists in 129 appearances for the club.
