Olympiacos Terminates Yaya Toure's Contract After 3 Months Because Of This

Ivorian Midfielder, Yaya Toure has had his contract with Olympiacos terminated after spending just months with the club.

Former Manchester City Midfielder, Yaya Toure has left Olympiacos just three months after returning to the club, according to reports in Greece.
The 35-year-old signed for the Superleague club in September, having left Manchester City on a free transfer in the summer.
However he has played just five times, and parted ways with the club on Tuesday after reportedly attending training to say goodbye to his team mates.
According to Greek radio station Sport24, Toure leaves after reportedly falling short of the expectations of manager Pedro Martins.
The central midfielder has enjoyed a glittering career in Europe, winning the Champions League with Barcelona and three Premier League titles at Manchester City.
He has also won the Africa Cup of Nations with the Ivory Coast, was named African Footballer of the Year four times, and featured at three World Cups.
Toure previously played for Olympiacos in the 2005-06 season following spells in Belgium and Ukraine, before moving to Monaco.
He then joined Barcelona in 2007, before moving on to Manchester City in 2010, where he became a fan favourite during a highly-successful eight year spell.
He became renowned for his blistering runs from midfield and eye for goal as City won three Premier Leagues, one FA Cup and three League Cups during that period.
