Melbourne Victory vs Manchester United‘s match started with full attacking forces.
Rashford in the mood now as Malacia delivers a lovely cross into the box. The England man rises early to win the header but without enough power to trouble the keeper.
Great counter attack by Victory and the shot isn’t too far away. Brooks letting his fresh legs get away from United’s midfield to slip in Velupillay but he snatches at the shot and it flies wide at the near post.
He hasn’t really done anything since coming on but Marcus Rashford very much into the game now with a lovely little finish to put United 3-1 ahead.
Bailly, a couple of minutes after almost letting the opposition in, atones by driving forward under pressure and slipping Rashford through.
The striker’s pace is electric and too much for the tiring defenders before the neat nudged finish.

And while Ten Hag is still without Cristiano Ronaldo, he does welcome back skipper Harry Maguire for this fixture at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. The hosts will also have a familiar face in their squad as ex-United winger Nani could be involved after completing a transfer to the Australian outfit earlier this month.
Erik ten Hag’s side were excellent in their opening win against Liverpool earlier in the week and are in for another interesting test against one of Australia’s best club sides.
United used 22 different players during their 4-0 victory against Jurgen Klopp’s side on Tuesday and Ten Hag is expected to take the chance to give minutes to most of his players once again today.
Club captain Harry Maguire makes his first appearance of the summer, while David de Gea and Raphael Varane are not in the match squad. Tyrell Malacia is on the bench.
