Atletico Madrid vs Man City’s Match started with full attacking forces.
Pep Guardiola has options on the bench, but it’s difficult to see who he would bring off to change things up.
Phil Foden has been targeted, yet he’s the main attacking output. Raheem Sterling’s directness might help although it might disrupt the balance City have at the moment.
Jack Grealish would inject some energy, but also attract plenty of attention from Atletico players. And until City get a second, Guardiola also has to prepare for the possibility of extra time. A big team talk coming.

It’s been a war out there with little goal-mouth action but City will be delighted.
They have once again limited Atletico to few opportunities and the home side are getting no joy in their underhanded tactics to wind their opponents up.
The game is getting a little scrappy towards the end of the half as Atletico bring out their old tricks.
Manchester City were so unlucky not to score, and the pass from Mahrez with the outside of his boot to find Kyle Walker really did deserve a goal.

Is there another keeper on the planet who, with everyone screaming for him to “Get rid!” as he stands almost on his own goal-line with forwards closing in, can then nonchalantly hit a 60-yard pass to Foden on halfway? No wonder Pep thinks he’s crazy.
