Manchester United's Toby Collyer: Loan Exit or Old Trafford Stay?

Manchester United is considering sending midfielder Toby Collyer back out on loan before the winter transfer window closes.

Collyer, 21, was recalled from West Bromwich Albion in December after struggling with injuries and limited playing time.

He made 12 appearances for the Championship club, starting just three games.

Despite United’s midfield struggles with injuries to Bruno Fernandes and Kobbie Mainoo, Collyer could still be loaned out to gain experience.

However, The Manchester Evening News suggests he might remain at Old Trafford, depending on Manuel Ugarte and Mainoo’s futures.

Collyer’s next steps hinge on United’s squad needs and loan regulations, which prevent him from playing for more than two European clubs this season.
