Manchester City has made significant progress in its pursuit of Bournemouth’s Antoine Semenyo, with reports indicating an agreement in principle has been reached between the two clubs.
The £65m deal would be a major coup for Pep Guardiola’s side, who have been eyeing Semenyo as a key addition to their attacking lineup.
The Ghana international has been in top form this season, registering 11 goal contributions in 16 appearances for Bournemouth.
His release clause, valued at £65m, has attracted interest from several top clubs, including Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea, and Liverpool.

However, Semenyo is understood to have favored a move to Manchester City.
The transfer is expected to be finalized within the next 48 hours, with City drafting the necessary documentation.
Semenyo’s arrival would strengthen an already potent City attack, featuring players like Jeremy Doku, Bernardo Silva, and Erling Haaland.
To accommodate Semenyo, Oscar Bobb and Omar Marmoush are potential candidates for departure.
