A man identified as Mr. Chukwuka Igbonekwu as took his own life few day after having serious argument with his girlfriend.
The deceased who died few weeks to his wedding after quarreling with his girlfriend Adaeze who he left to marry another lady.
This incident happened on Saturday 13th of March 2022 at Dr. Ambrose Okereke street, behind Stephen Keshi Stadium, Asaba.
The 24-year-old groom to be died after drinking sniper insecticide, he was rushed to the hospital but confirmed died on arrival.

The deceased wedding date is on April 19,20 according to the invitation card distributed to their invites.
According to the information reaching us the girlfriend is still in the custody of people for proper interrogation.
One of the witness explained how the incident happened, in his words he said;
“There was a fight between late Igbonekwu and his girlfriend on Thursday, March 10, 2022, after much quarreling and fighting, we decided to enter their room to enquire what was the problem.
“The lady who has been living together with him over the years until his death said that the fight was as a result of the late Chukwuka wanting to leave her for another lady.
“When we asked the deceased what was the issue, he said that he and the girlfriend are related and also both of them are the same AS genotype and therefore cannot marry.
“After the fight, they reconciled again and later we saw both of them coming out from a shopping mall and going home on Friday”
