Speaking on the differences between fame in Nigeria and abroad, Brainard emphasized that while being a prominent figure in Nigeria has its advantages, the same recognition doesn’t necessarily translate internationally.

He shared, “In America, your stardom doesn’t guarantee recognition or respect. I often encountered disbelief from Nigerian passengers who recognized me but couldn’t reconcile my celebrity status with my role as their Uber driver.”
