In a recent development, former Big Brother Naija participant and music artist, Groovy, has raised concerns regarding potential intellectual property infringement by South African singer, Tyla.

Allegations surfaced as Groovy pointed out similarities between a snippet of Tyla’s upcoming track ‘Truth or Dare’ and his own composition, ‘On My Way.’ Expressing discontent, Groovy highlighted that Tyla seemingly utilized parts of his song without seeking prior permission.

Taking to social media, Groovy reposted a snippet of Tyla’s track ‘Truth or Dare’ shared on X, juxtaposing it with his own track ‘On My Way.’

In his post, he addressed Tyla directly, stating, “Hi Tyla, your new song bears a striking resemblance to my track ‘On My Way.’ No clearance was sought from my end regarding this.”
