Peseiro Not The Right Man To Lead Super Eagles - Gara-Gombe

Super Eagles team of Nigeria display superiority in AFCON 2023 first game against Equatorial Guinea despite unlucky draw, Peseiro believes.

In the aftermath of Nigeria’s 1-1 draw against Equatorial Guinea in the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Cote d’Ivoire, Super Eagles coach, Jose Peseiro, asserted that his team outperformed their opponents but fell victim to bad luck.

Despite the slightly disappointing result, Peseiro expressed satisfaction with the overall performance of his players, highlighting their dominance on the field. However, he couldn’t overlook the missed opportunities that could have secured a more favorable outcome.
