Rape, Pastors And The Church – Akinyele Solchild (Part 2)

Rape, Pastors And The Church - Akinyele Solchild

Rape, Pastors And The Church Part Two – A Nigerian Strategist, Super Brand Developer and Entertainment/Social Analyst, Akinyele Solchild has released an article on Rape, Pastors and The Church.

Akinyele Solchild inspired from the trending rape issue between Busola Dakolo and Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo of Coza church to bring up this article, stated below;

Rape, Pastors And The Church (Concluding part)

Though all we have are allegations against this man but the reoccurring of it should make his apologist to ask the why question. For an ex-cultist and knowing the attributes of cultists I will rather believe his accusers and hope he is able to vindicate himself.

My common sense would not suddenly delete a man’s past all because they opened a church and are now preaching the word of God especially when these things they are being accused of can be traced to their past lives, their is going to be an element of their past in them that they are still fighting and that isn’t totally the work of God to help them to win this battle but their own personal decision to overcome as they heal from the past, it is in your bible find it, read and understand.

The mistake we make as Christians is we assume that as soon people come to church and give their lives to Christ and confess their sins, their sins disappear and their past stop existing and boom the new life was an exchange like spare parts.

In the real sense it means they saw a better living and have decided to let go their past of which there is possibility that their past keeps taunting them and coming back to them which leaves them to depend on God to help them focus on their commitment even at that their mind still plays a major role in walking away from their ugly past and if unfortunately, the temptation is bigger than them as desires get conceived, they are liable to fall which is why I think we should start looking into the past of our so-called men of God, representative of religion & politicians too.

Looking into their past not to see them in the light of it but when cases like this happens we’ll be guided on how to help them not be an apologist of evil these men do all for the sake of Christ or our selfish benefits from them, because nothing will justify abuse of another human for selfish gains.

I will round up here, so who will safe us? Who will vindicate the victims? Who will stop these predators and impersonators? Who will punish them? Since the representative of the body of Christ isn’t willing to help tame this bad eggs and God isn’t doing better as these guys always seem to be going away with a lot and it’s dehumanizing and affecting society peace, we should find an alternative.

And when I was thinking of alternative I wasn’t thinking of a media outfit with not so clear intention/profound solution for a problem but sees an opportunity to make a statement for gains and rating as they sit a popular victim and have a chit chat for viral purpose, instead a more robust well-strategized approach to make sure they don’t just be a viral banter and it ends there but help these victims nail their alleged predators.

It doesn’t have to be a total responsibility of YTV though I feel Chude and his team has started something already, we don’t expect the alleged predator to come and accept he is guilty as charged, he is absolutely smart to be a preacher of his calibre and with his money he can afford to pay the best brains to manage this scandal with even more robust damage control ideas. We might not send him to jail for his atrocities but if we can prove beyond reasonable doubts that he is a monster and achieve seeing many people boycott his church and send a strong message to others that are in the same WhatsApp group with him to either change for good or go down his lane too. We need to sincerely frown at this act not just use it for clouts.

And it begins with taking every testimony serious either they are famous or just ordinary people. Ask your pastor this Sunday what they feel about these reoccurring saga of another man of God tarnishing the image of the same God they both represent, guilt trip them to come out and speak their mind so that the work of God will not suffer in the long run.

They are all representing the same God even though they are using different principles, what affects COZA affects Winners, DeeperLife, Elevation and the rest. Because God does not record churches but worship, one man’s wrongdoing can disrupt all others goodwill.

We will only win this battle for humanity if we go about it with a sincere purpose and not otherwise.

Rape, Pastors And The Church – Akinyele Solchild

Rape, Pastors And The Church - Akinyele Solchild

Rape, Pastors And The Church – Nigerian Strategist, Super Brand Developer and Entertainment/Social Analyst, Akinyele Solchild has released an article on Rape, Pastors and The Church.

Akinyele Solchild inspired from the trending rape issue between Busola Dakolo and Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo of Coza church to bring up this article, stated below;

As at the moment I started typing this article, I already have about 20+ people that are anticipating my view and I hope I will do justice to it. Many people have spoken brilliantly and I just might love to add my own little that I feel is missing out to it. Not to discuss the Rape, Pastors and the Church but to speak on how we can end this menace once if possible not have to deal with it again soonest.

Before we go further I will like to state this opinion and I will be glad to debate with your favorite pastors and born again brethren and sisters. We don’t practice Christianity as a religion in Nigeria but Christianity as an Organization rather. Ninety percent of our supposedly holy houses are not operating on Christ-like ethics instead business ethics.

That being stated I won’t speak to religion, spirituality, body of Christ, Holy Spirit or a church but I will write as a human and this excludes any respect for God/Spiritual for just this one. I hope God sees my true intention and won’t count this as sin. in any case he does I would hope he start his judgments from the church that is supposedly meant to represent him and its conducts.

An ex-cultist turned preacher, don’t we expect too much from people? We assume a lot  or just hold on to some type of beliefs even when it doesn’t speak to common sense just because of a certain narrative that was sold to us and we are gullible enough to buy into it without discerning or give it a second thought, because of our selfish expectations (benefits) and unpleasant reality.

So that is why we have people defending an alleged predator and also why the predators have an alibi to hide under and perpetuate their evils.

CHECK THIS: Open Letter To Former President Olusegun Obasanjo

I want to beg  God to do little more for humanity by striking down people impersonating him, hiding  under his grace to perpetrate evils, create a measure to judge them faster so we can save what is rest of humanity and the stress of dealing and living with these evil doers and this is because not many of us have the gift to know who God has called and If the person is truly anointed to do his job and if the person is sincere to the call and not out there for personal gains like it looks like for many of our pastors on earth.

In other words, this is me calling God out to act better, these people are doing more harms than good to humanity and it’s steadily destroying humanity by the minute.

If not we might need to result to boycotting God and his works on earth. Because I am not saying he does favour these culprits but the end product looks like they get away with too much. Bros G we beg you to act better or leave us and let us deal with our problems our way, allow us stone people with bigger sins than ours regardless if we are sinners or not. Allow us to judge them on earth to heal the wounds they are inflicting on humanity on earth for earth-sake.

Also we should stop saying let the body of Christ do something about the atrocities that exist in the church, c’mon guys isn’t it obvious that majority of these men of God have hidden secrets that is known to most of their colleagues and circle that won’t allow them do us the help unless we as people emancipate ourselves from the mental slavery that they’ve put us in.

Christianity isn’t bigger than humanity, however, I will say Christianity depends on Humanity to thrive, we will never successful justify the need for spirituality/religion if we failed to first protect humanity. So if humans can’t be human they cannot be good Christians. Being a good Christians means you show love to humans and you don’t hurt what you love (This is Humanity), respect the law of the land and do everything to keep it (This is Humanity). Even Jesus we are obliged to follow his footsteps did that while on earth, he advised us to give what belongs to Ceaser to Ceaser and what belongs to God to God.

Large numbers of us were brought up to reverend men of God, elders and people in authority and this status quo has been used to deprive us when it’s time to call people out old or young, mighty or benefactors when they have questionable behaviour.

See What President Buhari Told African Leaders in Abuja (Full Statement)

See What Buhari Told African Leaders in Abuja (Full Statement)

Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari has told the leaders of Africa to ensure they foster relations to ensure the continent’s growth and prosperity.

In the opening speech by President Buhari at the 55th Ordinary Session of the Authority of Heads of State and Government of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS).

Full speech stated below;

“I commend our individual and collective efforts towards the promotion of good governance, peace, stability and socio-economic development in our sub-region. We must remain focused on our collective endeavour to make the sub-region an area of peace and security.

This is an essential prerequisite if we are to attain the primary objective of our organization which is, to “promote cooperation and integration, leading to the establishment of an economic and monetary union in West Africa. in order to raise the living standards of its people and contribute to the progress and development of the African continent”.

Despite the overall appreciable progress we have made, particularly in the field of political governance. our sub-region continues to face considerable security challenges. We are all witnesses to the recurring incidents of inter-communal clashes, herders-farmers conflicts, banditry and terrorist attacks in all our countries.

These threats, you will agree with me, have consequences on the peaceful co-existence between our communities and peoples as well as their livelihoods.

This unrest also undermines all our efforts in achieving full regional integration. It is, therefore, necessary that we act collectively to end this menace in the interest of regional stability and wellbeing of our people.

Let me offer, on behalf of all of us, our sincere sympathies and condolences to the families of the victims of terrorist attacks, banditry and inter-communal clashes perpetrated by some misguided elements in our societies. We shall not relent in our efforts to protect our peace loving people and their properties. while vigorously sustaining the war against terrorism and criminality.

Excellencies Heads of State and Government,

Taking into account the transnational nature of the threats confronting us. the need for the adoption of a common strategy at the national and regional level to combat them, has become imperative. By so doing, we will reinforce our actions and resources for a more effective response to protect our citizens and secure our common space.

While I acknowledge that several initiatives and measures have been taken in our respective countries recent developments have shown that we must cooperate more effectively to achieve our goals.

We should send a strong and unified message to the perpetrators of violence that we are resolute in our collective determination to confront and defeat them.

I would like to renew our gratitude to all our colleagues who have skilfully conducted the political mediation missions we entrusted to them.

As we strive to create a secure, stable and prosperous environment in West Africa. we must also intensify our efforts to ensure sustainable economic and social development in our sub-region. By doing so, we will be able to tackle poverty and youth unemployment and contribute to our sustained stability.

Several issues relating to different policies, programmes and projects are itemized for discussion during today’s meeting.

As is our custom, the 55th ordinary session will also consider these matters from the reports on today’s agenda.

Considering the high level of interest you all attach to regional cooperation and integration. I am confident that our Summit will witness robust discussions and produce sound decisions.

Let me at this point, take this opportunity to renew, once again, our sincere appreciation to the African Union. the United Nations and all our bilateral and multilateral partners for their sustained cooperation and assistance. We value their partnership.

I will conclude my remarks by wishing us fruitful deliberations. I hereby declare open the 55th Ordinary Session of the ECOWAS Authority of Heads of State and Government.”
