Tuchel advises Naglesmann Over Potential Move To Chelsea

New Bayern Munich boss, Thomas Tuchel has said that he will not advise Julian Nagelsmann whether or not to take up the vacant position at Chelsea.

Naglesmann is reportedly Todd Boehly’s first choice of managers to replace Graham Potter who was sacked as Chelsea boss on Sunday.

Potter, a former Brighton boss, was appointed to take charge at Stamford Bridge in September after Tuchel was shown the door.

Nagelsmann was sacked last week by Bayern Munich and Tuchel, who was out of a job, made his return to management at the German champions.

Asked about Nagelsmann potentially becoming the new Chelsea manager, Thomas Tuchel told a press conference that he is not in a position to advise the 35-year-old.

“Julian is not gonna ask me because he doesn’t need my advice.”
