Brazil forward Neymar has beaten Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi
to a stunning World Cup record after his goal against Mexico in the
round of 16 in the World Cup, according to report in Goal.
Neymar has scored six times in the World Cup finals doing so faster
than Ronaldo and Messi when he scored the first goal in the 2-0 win
over Mexico.

Ronaldo and Messi have been on the limelight for the past 10 years
and have claimed five Ballon d’Or each but none has been able to shine
on the World stage especially in the World Cup tournament.
It was only his 38th shot in World Cup tournaments and, while both
Messi and Ronaldo have both reached this goal tally, it took the
superstar duo 67 and 74 efforts respectively to get there.
Indeed, Neymar has found the net six times in almost half the number of
shots it took the Portuguese.

With the victory over Mexico, Brazil has booked a place in the
quarterfinals of the World Cup.
Brazil will now await the winner between Belgium and Japan to know
their next opponent in the quarterfinals.
