The match between Real Betis & Manchester United started with full attacking forces.
This is really comfortable now and Betis have lost all hope of turning this around.
They are still giving it a bit of a go to give the home fans a goal, but United remain in control and have managed to lower the tempo.
Manchester United’s goal has really silenced the 54,000 strong home crowd with Betis heading for a Europa League exit and United onto the quarter-finals.

Sighs of frustration from the home support. They’d like to see their team grab a consolation. Their efforts certainly deserve a goal.

Real Betis have started the second just as they started the first.

United don’t have much time on the ball but again will have plenty of space on the break.
Weghorst reacts quickest to a bouncing ball in the box and shoots first-time on the half-volley. His effort however is hit straight at the keeper. That’s 13 attempts for United now.
Pellistri sends Sancho clear with a fine first-time ball down the right. Sancho reaches the edge of the box and should square the ball for Elanga to tap home, but opts to slam past the keeper instead. Rui Silva stays big to block, then the flag goes up for offside.
Even so, that was poor from Sancho, and Elanga is within his rights to give him the earful he’s getting.
