Van de Beek has taken the Fernandes role since he came on, with Fernandes moved out to the left-hand side. That’s a minor show of confidence in the Dutchman, I guess. He played on the left against Everton in December in the Carabao Cup and didn’t make a great impression, so this is more of a chance to have an impact.
Some more decent play from United results in Fernandes dragging a shot wide of goal.
Man United well on top here and haven’t been troubled at the back for a few minutes now. Granada need three unanswered goals if they are to go through, it should be in the bag already.
