Spurs hold the lead but that was a frustrating half in some ways. Too many times the hosts would seem to have the initiative only to turn inside with the ball and pass it backwards.
It happened on countless occasions and there’s no doubt an element of playing it safe in not attacking in numbers due to United’s pace on the counter but it’s not particularly pleasing on the eye.
