The Headies Awards organisers have officially disqualified Nigerian controversial singer, Portable over the threat of his co-nominees.
The Organisers of Headies Award took to their Instagram page on the 26th of July, 2022. In the post, they gave their reasons for his disqualification. Based on the post, Portable was accused of threatening his co -nominees, he was also disqualified for a series of misdemeanours via his social media platforms.

The singer was nominated for the two different categories‘ Rookie of the Year’ with singers like Av, Fave, Magixx, Ugocci and ‘Best Street-Hop Artiste’ categories with artists like Bella Shmurda, Mohbad, Naira Marley, and Goya Menor among others
The Organisers have also involved the Nigerian Police based on the threat made by Portable. They have also told him to write an apology to nominees in both categories and to The Headies.

Portable brought the disqualification to himself someone is that’s always making noise on social media instead of allowing is success and music to make the noise anyway I pray this teach him some lessons.
