Two Clubs Confirm Interest in Signing Super Eagles Goalkeeper, Stanley Nwabali.

 

Interest from two clubs has been confirmed in securing the services of Chippa United’s goalkeeper, Stanley Nwabali.

Renowned football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano disclosed this development on Sunday morning, shedding light on the clubs eyeing Nwabali’s talent. According to Romano, Al-Ettifaq of Saudi Arabia and Queens Park Rangers in England have both expressed interest in signing the Nigerian goalkeeper.

In a tweet, Romano stated: “Nigeria GK Stanley Nwabali is catching the attention of various clubs, with Al Ettifaq in Saudi Arabia and Queens Park Rangers in the UK making inquiries about him. His current South African club, Chippa United, will weigh his future options in the coming months.”

Nwabali’s departure from Chippa United seems imminent, especially after his commendable performance with the Super Eagles during the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations. With four clean sheets to his credit, Nwabali played a pivotal role in Nigeria clinching the Silver medal at the tournament.
