Super Eagles Approaches Another England Star To Play For Nigeria

Super Eagles Coach, Genort Rohr has approached England defender Moses Odubajo to play for the national team.

The Brentford full-back who played for the England U-20’s under Aidy Boothroyd is set to switch allegiance to his anscentral home.

The AFCON 2019 tournament in Cameroon is fast approaching and Super Eagles who have already qualified with a game spare, are looking to lure the 25-year-old.

Odubajo who has been out of action for two years due to a dislocated knee injury, rejoined Brentford and got regular playing time in the Championship.

Odubajo will be included for Nigeria’s last qualifying match against Seychelles next year in Uyo and could make the final cut to the AFCON tournament in the summer.

The former Hull City star admitted he almost quit the game during his two-year spell on the sidelines after helping the Tigers secure promotion into the Premier League.

However, Odubajo has made a solid start to Brentford’s campaign in Championship making seven appearances for the Bees so far.
