In a heart-wrenching revelation, Olawale B from Fathia Entertainment has shared that beloved Nollywood actor Quadri Oyebanji, fondly known as Sisi Quadri, passed away shortly after being granted a visa to the United States.

Olawale B disclosed that arrangements were underway for Sisi Quadri to travel to the US for an upcoming show, indicating the anticipation surrounding his trip.

Taking to Instagram to share the unfortunate news, the promoter expressed his sorrow, stating,

“So sad to hear the death of Nollywood actor @iamsisiquadir. US visa was already Approved. Date fixed already. Who are we to question God.”

Sisi Quadri, aged 44, breathed his last on Friday, leaving behind a legacy cherished by many within the Yoruba movie industry.

Colleagues such as actress Abiola Bayo paid tribute to the late actor on her verified Instagram handle, saying,

“You will be greatly missed, Sisi Quadri. May your soul rest in perfect peace.”

The Theatre Arts And Motion Pictures Practitioners Association Of Nigeria (TAMPAN) also mourned his loss, with TAMPAN National President Bolaji Amusan, popularly known as Mr Latin, confirming the sad news via an Instagram post. Mr Latin expressed, “Hmmmmm! May God grant him eternal rest.”
