Salah Beats Mane & Aubameyang To Retain Africa's Best Player Of The Year 2018

Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah retain as Africa’s best Player of the year 2018 according to CAF.

The Egyptian international beat fellow Liverpool mate, Sadio Mane and Arsenal forward, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to African prestigious award which was held in Dakar, Senegal.

Mohammed Salah has been in fine form for Liverpool this season scoring 13 goals in the premier league, which sees Jurgen Klopp men sitting on top of the English topflight table with 54 points four ahead of Premier League rival Manchester City.

Former Chelsea star received per cent of the total votes cast ahead of Gabonese skipper Aubameyang.

Aubameyang was named as Africa’s best in 2015. He equalled Yaya Toure and Michael Essien’s record for being among the finalists five times in a row, he is rated as an outsider with 13 per cent of the votes.
