The home team started the game with with full attacking forces but Valencia managed to hold them throughout the first half.

The half time ended goalless draw but things started to change at the second half and that could be the impact of Zinedene Zidane.

Karim Benzema recorded two goals before Marco Asensio ended it all and sealed the winning for R. Madrid with 3 goals to nothing at the of Real Madrid vs Valencia.

Second-place Madrid resumed their campaign with a 3-1 win over Eibar last time out, while Valencia – who are still not out of the running for a Champions League place – drew 1-1 with Levante.

Karim Benzema and Eden Hazard complemented each other well today and they were rewarded with the opening goal for their teamwork.

However, Valencia never really recovered from Rodrigo’s disallowed goal and the team struggled to match Real Madrid’s tempo from thereon.

The win takes Real Madrid to just two points off Laliga league leader FC Barcelona, with nine games to go in the 2019/20 season.

Valencia, on the other hand, stays eighth with 43 points, which is one below the European places.
