Nottingham Forest vs Liverpool’s match started with full attacking forces.
Kouyate rumbles into the area from the left and picks out Yates on the edge of the area. His shot is slightly tame and deflects through to Alisson. That was a chance for Forest.
Alexander-Arnold’s cross is deflected towards Jones on the edge of the area. He takes it on the chest and hits a volley straight at Henderson.
The pressure is mounting. Alexander-Arnold’s cross is shinned behind by Cook, and he trots across to take the corner. It’s headed away superbly by Cook, under all sorts of pressure from Van Dijk at the far post.

An excellent counter-attack from Forest. Kouyate charges the length of the field, playing a long-range one-two with Gibbs-White in the process, and crosses low towards Johnson at the near post.
He doesn’t connect properly with a first-time shot on the run and it’s pushed round the post by the diving Alisson.
A double substitution for Forest. Joe Worrall and Brennan Johnson replace the goalscorer Taiwo Awoniyi, who has run himself into the ground, and Jesse Lingard. That means a switch to a back five.
Alexander-Arnold’s wicked inswinging corner is headed into the ground and over the bar by Firmino, six yards out. He saw it very late, and had to stoop to make contact, so it wasn’t an easy chance.
Kouyate has given himself cramp with that run. Forest’s midfield three – Kouyate, Yates and Freueler – has been really excellent today.
