On social media few weeks ago, it has been riddled with the news of Nigerian rapper, Naira Marley’s arrest by the Economic Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), especially after his court appearance.
The rapper, in recent development reported to have been involved in a robbery and sexual assault at the age of 19 and was declared wanted by Lewisham Police in London.
A report from five years ago dated June 11, 2014 by News Shoppers, shows Naira Marley listed amongst other criminals who were wanted for sexual assault at the time.
In the report, they give Marley’s profile as “Azeez Fashola, 19, is wanted by police in connection with an incident in Surrey Canal Road, New Cross on March 5.”
