Manchester United continues with their good performances after the win over Tottenham Hotspur by mid-week.
As usual, Manchester derby used to be a toughest English Premier League match and unpredictable. Anything can happen.
With both Manchester teams current form, it’s hard to predict that Manchester United will win the match at Etihad stadium.
Though, it wasn’t easy like that but United finally comes out flying colours.
This win gives Manchester United upper hand in thier last six meeting, with United won three, drew one and lost two to City.
It was a frustrated night for Man City fans and as the loss met them unexpected.
Man United started making it early as they scored both goals at first half of the match.
The first goal was a penalty kick scored by United forward, Marcus Rashford after he was fouled by City winger, Bernando Silva. Thanks to Video Assistant Referee (VAR) for this.
United converted standing nine, Anthony Martial brought the second goal with a slight opportunity.
City tried hard to return those concieded goals but unfortunately, they only managed to return one at 86 mins by Otamendi.
While United was leading by two goals to nothing, City fans started throwing bottles to United players. Some bottles even hit hard on United midfielder, Fred when he wanted to play a corner kick.
This will be an offence for Man City as English FA doesn’t go easy with such attitude. City might be later fined for that
