Liverpool vs Leeds United’s match started with full attacking forces.
Robertson and Adams clash heads and require a bit of treatment. Time for everyone to take on some water.
They break and Aaronson lays the ball off to Bamford. The goal is gaping but the Leeds forward miscontrols the ball and ends up forcing the corner.
The visitors have been a threat on the counter attack all game.
Another brilliant save by Meslier.
The ball comes out to Nunez and his curling effort is heading for the top corner but the Leeds stopper pulls off another fine stop.
Milner barges his way down the right. He crosses. Leeds fail to clear. Nunez heads down for Firmino, who aims for the bottom left. The shot is on target, but there’s no real pace behind it, and it’s an easy enough claim for Meslier.

The corner leads to a melee in the Leeds six-yard box. Nobody can get a shot away. Leeds counter, Summerville driving down the inside-left channel then slipping a pass towards Bamford on his right.
Bamford is clear in the box! But he inexplicably lets the ball roll past him, and when he goes to retrieve it, Henderson has arrived on the scene, and the opportunity to score is gone.
He forces a corner that leads to nothing, but that should have been the winner for Leeds.
Another opportunity for Liverpool.
Jones has really made a difference since he’s come on and some neat play results with the youngster laying the ball off to Salah.
Almost a defensive disaster for Leeds as Cooper gets himself in a muddle and is dispossessed by Salah as the last defender.
Salah lays the ball off to Nunez who is one-on-one with Meslier but the French stopper pulls off a superb save to keep his side in it – still 1-1!
Koch blocks hit shot from 10 yards out but the referee awards a goal kick instead. This is much better from the hosts.
