Liverpool vs Everton’s match started with full attacking forces.
Second half goals from Andy Robertson and Divock Origi secured all three points for Liverpool in the 240th Merseyside derby.
And that should be the game! It’s Divock Origi with the goal. Of course it is. He makes it 2-0 with a close-range header from Diaz’s overhead across the face of goal.
Those changes have worked a charm for Klopp as the Liverpool fans sing the name of Everton’s former manager…Rafa Benitez.
Not been a superb display from Jota today but he has never stopped working, putting Everton under pressure. No wonder Klopp has kept him on.
Salomon Rondon is on for Demarai Gray and Everton have a free-kick in a decent position. A chance to swing a cross here… Alisson punches and then Thiago is fouled.
Not really sure where Luis Diaz has been asked to play here. He’s just floating about the pitch, causing problems. It’s Origi down the middle and Jota on the left. Meanwhile Allan is off for Alli for Everton.

Huge applause for Salah as he tracks Gordon’s attempt to counter all the way before winning it back near the halfway line. Liverpool are so much better since the changes.
Gordon learns his lesson from the first half, runs the ball out of play after carrying it quite the distance on the counter.
Didn’t fancy going over when faced with a challenge from Joel Matip this time. Good defending again from Matip who had stopped Iwobi a few second earlier on the counter.
