Folarin Falana, widely known as Falz The Bahdguy, recently shared a harrowing experience from a decade ago involving his Bhad Guys band, highlighting a perilous encounter that nearly cost them their lives.
Recalling the chilling incident that unfolded in 2013 during a journey between Abuja and Lokoja, Falz recounted the aftermath of their first N1 million gig in Abuja, en route to another performance in Benin.
The musician, who transitioned from law to rap, recounted a terrifying attack on their vehicle by approximately five armed assailants. Tragically, their driver was fatally shot, causing the vehicle to careen uncontrollably until it crashed into a nearby forest.
As consciousness returned amidst the chaos, they found themselves face-to-face with a menacing individual, demanding money. Despite asserting their lack of funds, they faced relentless threats until the gunmen abruptly fled upon hearing approaching police sirens.
