Unknown gunmen have invaded the Tungan-Maje community in Gwagwalada Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT Abuja.
The gunmen who stormed the area on Tuesday overpowered the security agencies who tried to repel them.
A police officer and other residents were reportedly shot during the incident.

A resident of the community, Ibrahim Saidu who confirmed the incident, said about two persons were whisked away to an unknown destination.
“The entire residents of Anguwar Samu were gripped with fear because of the gunshots but unfortunately, they succeeded in abducting two people,” he said.
When contacted for confirmation, the FCT Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Maryam Yusuf said that she was in a meeting but promised to get back to our correspondent.
