The Nigerian Health Minister, Osagie Ehanire, has finally revealed the drug they have been using to treat the Covid-19 patients in Nigeria.
On Tuesday, the health minister revealed this and said they are now using Remdesivir to treat Covid-19 patients.
He said,
“We have been using that (Remdesivir); we have tried that in Lagos too.”
““So, we have tried the antiretroviral drug to see what effect it has.”
He added that Nigeria has moved from disease importation to community spread.

Meanwhile, US had recently approved the emergency use of Remdesivir to treat Coronavirus patients.
