Former Minister of Culture, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode has disclosed how he attended the same school with President Muhammadu Buhari’s Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari.
Fani-Kayode, who described Abba Kyari as a brilliant man, said he sat with him during their final exams in Cambridge University in the United Kingdom.
He also disclosed how Kyari worked in his father’s law firm for years and was one of the “brightest”.
However, the ex-minister wondered how Kyari accepted to work in Buhari’s government, describing it as the “eighth wonder of the world”.
He said,
“I studied at Cambridge University in 1984 with Abba Kyari, President Buhari’s Chief of Staff. We sat next to each other during our final exams and I can confirm that he is brilliant. He also worked in my father’s law firm “Fani-Kayode and Sowemino” for years and he was one of our brightest.
“How a brilliant man like that can end up working for a man who is so limited, who has no WAEC certificate and whose only educational qualification is a fraudulently procured and fake “attestation” certificate is beyond me. It is a mystery. It is the 8th wonder of the world.”
