Fabregas To Reunite With Henry As He Completes His Monaco Move

Fabregas has finally dump Chelsea for AS Monaco for a reported £10m after signing a three-and-a-half-year contract with dethroned Ligue 1 Champions.

Cesc Fabregas needed to leave Stamford Bridge in search of first-team football after he was reduce to fringes of Blues’ squad this season new coach Maurizio Sarri.

Fabregas underwent a medical in Monaco on Friday after the two clubs finally agreed a fee, and Chelsea are now expected to push ahead with deals for either Leandro Paredes or Nicolo Barella as his replacement.

Fabregas move to Chelsea in 2014 for a reported €33m and was part of the Chelsea side that won the Premier League on two separate occasions in 2015 and 2017, and the FA Cup last season.

The 2010 World Cup winner will reunite with former Arsenal teammate Thierry Henry at the Stade Louis II, with the Frenchman appointed manager of the struggling side in October.

Monaco confirmed the deal via their Twitter account on Friday evening.
