Arsenal look a bit less in control than in the first half now Luiz has gone off and Newcastle are trying more. Mat Ryan has noticed and barks “more energy” at his teammates as they just about clear away a Magpies attack.
From the replays it looks as though Luiz has tweaked his left hamstring. The Brazilian is devastated and is consoled by both Aubameyang and Xhaka before being replaced by Chambers.
David Luiz has gone down injured here and it looks as though the Brazilian is coming off. Calum Chambers has already stripped off and will replace him. Big blow given how good Luiz has been today.
Gabriel and Mat Ryan get in a bit of a mix up as the Brazilian thinks his keeper is coming to collect but Ryan has already retreated to his line. Callum Wilson thraeatens to get in but is adjudgeed to have fouled the Arsenal centre back.

Newcastle are back out too and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang gets us underway. No changes at the break from either side.
A very encouraging opening half for the Gunners who have been on top for most of it. Gabriel Martinelli has been a threat down the left and David Luiz’s passing has been very impressive.
The big suprise though has been how much joy they’ve been getting at set pieces and surely Steve Bruce won’t allow that to continue.
The worry for Arsenal will be that they’re not further ahead for all their dominance, and Saint-Maximin’s deflected effort shows that it won’t take much for them to give up all.
