Brentford & Manchester United started the match with full attacking forces.
Story of the game: Brentford did not take their chances in the first half. Manchester United have taken theirs in the second.
Fernandes much more influential in the second half than the first, when the visitors were truly dreadful. All sorts of trouble at the back.
Another counter attack and this time it’s Marcus Rashford for his first goal in 11 games. Well taken and Bruno Fernandes with the assist again. That is the game. Harsh on Brentford but they have conceded three goals this half.
That doesn’t happen by accident. McTominany bursts through, Fernandes jinks his way towards the penalty area before a deft pass finds Rashford on the right. It’s a cool and clinical finish that goes into the top of the net to all but claim the three points.
A few lingering camera shots of Cristiano Ronaldo, presumably to suggest that he is not happy being substituted. Maybe, but he’s just generally talking and gesticulating. Doesn’t look immensely perturbed by it.
Mason Greenwood replaced by Marcus Rashford and Ronaldo comes off with Harry Maguire coming on in his place.

Looks like a couple of changes for the visitors too… or there will be when play stops again. You feel for Brentford here, don’t really deserve to be 2-0 down. Could have been 2-0 up at half-time had they taken their chances.
Mason Greenwood with a tap in to end a brutal and ruthless counter attack! McTominay sends a ball over the top to Ronaldo, whose chest pass is inch-perfect to Bruno Fernandes.
The Portuguese breaks on the left flank, could shoot himself but takes the better option in squaring to Greenwood who is just onside and it’s the easiest finish the young man is likely to have.
