It’s a battle of two Chelsea legends: Frank Lampard and John Terry.
John Terry came back to Stamford Bridge to as part of Aston Villa coaching team to his former teammate, Frank Lampard as a Chelsea Manager.
Chelsea narrowly escaped through with three points tonight as the visiting team gave them much pressures.
Tammy Abraham opened the goal chances in a first half of the game to gave the home team a lead.
Before first half of the game runs end, Aston Villa forward, Jack Grealish recorded a goal for his team in return to Chelsea’s first goal.
The scoreline was 1-1 draw at the end of first half.
At the second half of the game, Christian Pulisic recorded the second goal for the home team in attempt to secure the winning with three straight points.
Chelsea winger, Willian tried to secured the winning early with a great freekick but the visitor’s keeper save the ball and hit the bar.
Tammy Abraham, who just came back from the sideline missed some chances during the game. The England International later secured another hamstring injury and was replaced by Michy Batshuayi.
Another England International and Chelsea midfielder, Callum Hudson-Odoi, who just came back from the sideline was later introduced to the match.
The away team, Aston Villa gave the home team much more pressure when the game was going to an end but Chelsea finally overcame them to secure the winning three points.
