Celestial Church Leader Stops Portable & Pasuma's Performance At Praise Night

Olatosho Oshoffa, the Shepherd-in-charge at the Celestial Church of Christ International Headquarters in Ketu, has vehemently criticized the decision to invite singers Portable and Pasuma to perform at a praise night hosted by one of the church branches.

The Celestial Church of Christ, Land of Goshen in Lagos, recently shared a flyer promoting its upcoming praise night, showcasing Portable, Pasuma, and May Shua as performers. However, this announcement sparked a flurry of reactions across social media platforms. Some individuals expressed disappointment, questioning whether a sacred space like a church should be used for entertainment purposes.

Addressing the controversies on his Facebook page, Oshoffa stated, “Dear Celestians, I have just had a thorough conversation with the Shepherd in Charge of the mentioned Parish. He has assured me of rectifying the situation with the posters.

“He has pledged that the contested artists will NOT be part of the event. Undoubtedly, the initial poster was highly objectionable. God bless CCC. Amen.”
