Brentford vs Chelsea‘s match started with full attacking forces.
Off a well-placed ball from Loftus-Cheek, Mount sends a curving pass ahead of a running Broja, but he’s tightly marked, and can’t take advantage of the intelligent play.
Broja’s defending sends the ball out for a long Brentford throw, which falls in the box. Kovacic makes the clearance as far as Onyeka. Brentford are once again on top, and they have the crowd in full voice as they come again down that profitable left wing.
Big pressure from Brentford is forcing Chelsea into playing on the counter, which does suit Potter’s side.

Mount fails to play in Loftus-Cheek down the right on their latest attempt at a break – it hasn’t been Mount’s night at all so far. Very quiet.
Roerslev crosses and picks out Mbeumo perfectly, the unmarked header sent straight down for Kepa to collect from point-blank range.
Onyeka picks up the ball running to set up Roerslev on the right. He crosses to Mbeumo who has a delicious chance to squarely head the ball into goal… but Kepa shrinks to make the save.
Mbeumo sets up another chance with a cross for Toney, which Kepa gets on top of, too.
The Bees come again and Toney nods wide at the near post. Brentford not going away after the break!
Broja again starting off as a good outlet up front for Chelsea but the visitors fail to make a chance out of their fast attack of the half.
It was a good first half for the Albanian on his full debut for the Blues.
