Big Brother Naija 2020 is around and the biggest Reality TV show in Nigeria is about to commence. BBN is a popular TV show in which it’s contestants (housemates) gathered together in a cool and safe house for couple of weeks. For a prize worth millions Naira in cash and other items meant for a contestant.

 

Brief History of Big Brother Naija

Big Brother Naija had successfully organized four different season in the last  14 years stated below;

1. Big Brother Naija season 1 was premiered in 2006. The show held in Nigeria and won by Katung Aduwak with the prize worth $100,000
2. BBN season 2 (See Gobbe) was premiered in 2017. The show held in South Africa, won by Efe Ejeba with the prize worth N25M
3. BBNaija season 3 (Double Wahala) was premiered in 2018. It held in South Africa, won by Miracle Igbokwe with the prize worth N45M
4. BBNaija season 4 (Pepper Dem) was premiered in 2019. It held in Nigeria and won by Mercy Eke with the prize worth N60M.

Olisa Adibua and Michelle Dede hosted the first edition of Big Brother Naija while Ebuka Obi-Uchendu hosted the last three and expected to host this coming season 5 of 2020.

 

BBN 2020 : Requirements For Contestants

• You must have a valid International passport
• You have to be between the age of 21 and 35
• You must be educated with minimum of O’level qualification (you are qualified if you have just GCE, NECO or WAEC.
• You must be emotionally and mentally stable to handle the heat of the show for a period of 90 days or more without contact with the outside world.
• And lastly, you must be a Nigerian citizen

Big Brother Naija 2020 Audition

The Big Brother Naija 2020 (Season 5)  audition is expected to takes place in eight (8) different locations or more. Though, the locations for the BBN 2020 auditions has not revealed by the organizers due to Covid-19 pandemic.

Bbnaija 2019 (Pepper Dem) audition took place in 8 different cities and expecting for this year to be the same or more. The list of the locations are;

• Lagos
• Ibadan
• Benin
• Delta
• Abuja
• Calabar
• Enugu
• Port Harcourt

The audition is believed to be held soon as the show is expected to be commence in July or August.

 

How to apply for Big Brother Naija 2020 (Season 5)

Beware of scammers, they are many outthere claiming to be Bbnaija organizers on social media and asking people to pay money audition form. Kindly note that you can only get the application form at the audition centres.

Meanwhile, the audition form is completely free and only BBN organizers are in charge at the audition centre.

However, the registration is not yet commenced due to Covid-19 pandemic in the Nigeria and throughout the world. The organizers of the popular Reality TV show had to apply more patience in  a way to follow the rule of Government to control the spread of Coronavirus.
