Arsenal Weighs Options for Ethan Nwaneri Amidst Squad Depth

Arsenal’s young sensation Ethan Nwaneri is facing a tough spot at the Emirates.

Despite being the Premier League’s youngest-ever player, he’s struggling to get minutes, leading experts to suggest a possible January loan exit.

Gunners expert Charles Watts believes Nwaneri is the only player who could potentially leave, citing his lack of playing time.

Nwaneri’s situation stems from Arsenal’s impressive squad depth, with players like Martin Odegaard, Eberechi Eze, Bukayo Saka, and Gabriel Jesus competing for spots.

Coach Mikel Arteta has hinted that Nwaneri will stay at the club for now, valuing his presence in case of an injury crisis.

While a loan move could provide Nwaneri with much-needed experience, Watts questions the logic, saying, “You’d be letting a player go who’s absolutely up to speed, knows the system, you’d be almost weakening yourself”.

Should Arsenal Keep or Loan Nwaneri?

Considering Arsenal’s title ambitions, keeping Nwaneri might be the best bet.

However, if he continues to struggle for minutes, a temporary exit could be beneficial for his development.
